Reese to Host Veteran’s Expo in Ligonier

In honor of veterans living in the region, Rep. Mike Reese (R-Fayette/Westmoreland) announced he will host a Veteran’s Expo from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 30 at the Ligonier American Legion, 109 Kelly Street in Ligonier.

“I am pleased to host this event as an opportunity to help our men and women who made sacrifices for our liberty as a Commonwealth and nation,” said Reese. “There will be a number of displays and plenty of information about various programs and services available to Veterans and their families. I am grateful for the wonderful response from veteran’s organizations and others and I hope many residents will be able to attend.”

This event is free and open to all veterans.  Representatives from agencies such as Westmoreland County Veteran’s Affairs, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and American Legion Service Officers will provide information on services and are available to assist with questions or problems. In addition, Reese staff members will be able to help with state-related matters.

This event honors all veterans who have served our country with honor and courage.
