Reese to Host Sportsmen’s Saturday Event in Stahlstown

An afternoon filled with family oriented events

As warmer weather returns to western Pennsylvania, Rep. Mike Reese (R-Fayette/Westmoreland) reminds everyone that he will host his first Sportsmen’s Saturday at the Foggy Mountain Lodge and Restaurant in Stahlstown from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 10, 2010.

“We are blessed in western Pennsylvania with some of the finest outdoor recreational areas in the nation, and the time has come to shed that cabin fever and get back outside to enjoy our favorite outdoor sports,” said Reese. “This event will include a lot of information on fishing, hunting, archery, boating and the equipment that goes with those sports.”

Among the activities included in the afternoon’s events are; a demonstration on cooking wild game by the chefs at Foggy Mountain, a fishing presentation, lessons on coyote-calling and a rifle-shoot. No firearms are permitted at this event.

Foggy Mountain Lodge and Restaurant is located at 117 Foggy Mountain Lane in Stahlstown. For more information, including directions, visit Reese’s Web site at, and click on ‘Upcoming District Events.’
